    "Mr. Dowell has earned our highest recommendation as an outstanding master craftsman, a contractor of high integrity, and a very nice man to boot. We first worked with Robert about 15 years ago to develop plans for extensive built-ins for our library, when our project was derailed by a major home disaster. When we finally got back around to our plans for the library just recently, the first place we went was Mr. Dowell. He not only remembered us, he had saved the plans and we were able to move ahead with the very elegant and functional project he developed for us over a decade ago. He had done built-ins for others in our neighborhood, so we had excellent references. But to be sure, we did check with others on price and quality, and overall his prices were not only highly competitive, but the quality of his work was better than many other highly respected cabinet manufacturers. Don’t expect a rush job – Mr. Dowell takes his time and does it right, and the result for us was simply outstanding. This caliber of work is virtually unseen today. We not only don’t have any complaints, I just wish I could find a craftsman of his caliber every time I needed work at the house. He is superb, and we will seek to use him again on a couple of other projects we have in mind, and are happy to serve as a reference."
